Trail Head: Leavitt Meadow Campground (7 miles west from U.S. 395 on
Highway 108 over Sonora Pass)
Sunday night: Stay at Leavitt Meadow Campground (elevation 7120')

We plan on doing a semiloop:
Topo Maps: Sonora Pass and Tower Peak

Monday - 1st hiking day: Leavitt Meadow (elevation 7120') to Fremont
Lake (elevation 8240') (9 miles)
Tuesday - 2nd hiking day: Fremont Lake to Dorothy Lake (elevation
9400') (9 miles)
Wed: Layover day at Dorothy Lake ("excellent basecamp for exploring
surrounding lakes")
Thursday - 3rd hiking day: Dorothy Lake to Freemont Lake Trail Junction
along West Walker River (8 miles) ("Fishing in the deepter holes of
this section of the river is good for rainbow to 11")
Friday - fourth hiking day: Freemont Lake Trail Junction to Leavitt
Meadow (8 miles)

Looks like Uncle Paul will be able to go this year along with Greg,
Paul, Mike, Jeff, and Jordan.
